Dishui Lake Sailing Club locates along the coast of Dishui Lake, the largest artificial fresh water lake in China. The landscape belt around Dishui Lake is about 80 meters deep and about 83 hectares in size, and the project is mainly a sandy beach green area. The merging of water and sky forms the unique scenery of the site which is what the design desires to address, by introducing the landscape into the building, integrates the building itself with the scene, and provides visitors with an extraordinary landscape experience. At the same time, the architectural concept responds to the characteristics of the site and landscape: the form and distribution of the buildings are scattered like petals in the waterside green belt. While responding to the public facilities of the lake, the building is further integrated into the natural landscape and provides a rich dialogue between indoor and outdoor Spaces and the landscape. This project strategize to take light timber frame structure as the main structure of construction, providing a light and permeable inner and outer space ,the triangular arch being the regular structure and space unit, assembles according to different functions and hence provides an rich and varied experience impression of the space.
