The temporary exhibition pavilion is located in the prestigious Michelin two star restaurant Yongfoo Club, and the host Mr. Wang is a senior catering industry Shanghai "old Carat" with a background in Fashion industry, and also a cross-border "old Kidult" with an excellent sense of art. The starting point of the mission was to construct a new "temporary event generator" in this hidden courtyard of the old French Concession. After several changes in the scheme, the final draft in 2018 adopted bamboo and steel columns with different section sizes and tilt angles as the main structure, and Tyvek breathable fiber paper with the texture of Xuan paper as the covering surface. The 1/2 Pavilion is the predecessor of the Yeye Pavilion, a one-half scale physical construction version, which has been displayed as a theme installation in two major domestic exhibitions in the past. Its first appearance was the Modern Shanghai Home Plus exhibition curated by interior design master Mr. Wu Bin at the end of 2018, and the second was the Unknown City exhibition curated by Mr. Zhang Yuxing, an important driver of planning, at Pingshan Art Museum in Shenzhen in summer 2019. These two exhibitions give people the opportunity to experience this work for the first time.
